30 hour a week service job....

There is hope for gainful employment for the left loons and their useless liberal arts, women studies, theatre arts, etc degrees.

In 1973, I paid rent, ran a car and fed myself all on minimum wage. 40+hr week. One job.
Yes. In 1973, I remember it well, gasoline was 22 cents a gallon and you could get 5 pounds of chicken for dollar in the economy pack.
Those days are gone.
I bet you two jokers haven't yet figured out who is responsible for devaluation of the USD.
Nope. But all shit began hitting the fan when gasoline prices doubled ... the price of groceries began climbing on a weekly basis, but my grocery budget didn't. Don't know what caused it, but I'm guessing you'd say it was OBAMA, right?

Yes, it's a job. Try living on it, though.

Considering that there are those in the third world making 1/100th of a days minimum wage, I'd say it is possible.

Of course, with wealth continuing to rapidly consolidate, that will be us one day. You can only pillage the third world and exploit lower income civilians for so long before the sights get aimed higher.

That's just 16,000 jobs a year....hardly a dent in our employment figures

What is wrong with 94 million not in the labor force?
How many do you think should be there?
You do know that most jobs are basically 30 hour a week beginner service jobs… That's why the economy is so shitty.
That's part of the reason why the federal debt is so high, the federal government is being a nanny to far too many people.

And the worst part of the whole deal fucked up progressives think it's OK. :lmao:

Who cares?

You are bitching about 16,000 additional service jobs a year

We had 162,000 jobs added last month alone....show where they are all service jobs
Most jobs added in the Obama presidency have been service jobs, you know 30 hour week beginner jobs.
How many six-figure natural resource jobs of been lost during the Obama presidency? Coal mining, oil drilling, etc.
Flipping burgers and stocking shelves are nothing to build a career out of… Fact

Yes, it's a job. Try living on it, though.

The minimum wage is not a living wage. It's intended for young people entering the workforce and for the peons who are supplementing their Government handouts because they're not competent enough to get a real job.
That's sort of my issue, too, except my issue is that anyone working 40+ hours per week shouldn't need my assistance with food stamps. That's not THEIR fault, it's the fact that they are being paid a starvation wage. There are plenty of people still grabbing jobs like this that USED to be jobs for kids entering the work force because they need to put groceries on the table and gas in the car and they can't find a better paying job. The dole isn't as easy to get as you want to make out, and even if it was, a lot of people won't have anything to do with it.

Try living on it HERE, in 2016, in a town large enough to have a Taco Bell. You guys talking about 45 years ago and someplace in Cambodia.....get back on track.

It's a shift, progressives think it's OK to only work 30 hours a week and get a full-time career? There is no society more lazy than the socialist society.

Rustic?...you and others here, have already called our country a "shit eating Democracy" so....

You are a captive market. They can jack the prices up to their leisure.

Do you really expect a complex that dictates companies should always make as much money for as long as possible, are going to set reasonable prices?

You guys talking about 45 years ago and someplace in Cambodia.....get back on track.

No, actually I am talking about the modern day in several dozen third world countries. There are those that get paid 25 cents to 1$ a day in the third world.

Whoever came up with this notion that just because you have a college degree this magically makes you worth money?

Again, get back on topic, misfit. I'm weary of your middle school antics
