Such is the intent of the constitution. If someone doesn't like it they are free to move.DC has the entirety of congress. For DC to become a state would take more than a DC vote. It would take a constitutional amendment. Good luck with that. That’s isWho are the senators and congressmen for Cleveland? Laramie? Carmel by the Sea? Cities do not get any senators or Congressmen. No cities. Only states do. Cities vote for STATE representation.I sure doYou don't know the difference between a city and a state do you?Residents of a city get to vote for Congressmen and SenatorsThere's a reason we don't have 1000s of senators, idiot.Splain what I said that is incorrectYou're a dingbat. Truly an idiot.A city is represented by two Senators and at least one Congressman.
DC does not.
And those cities get to vote for Congressmen and Senators to represent their interests. DC does not
Did you never have a civics class?
Cleveland gets to vote for two Senators in the State of Ohio who represents their interests
Cleveland has a Congressional District and their own Congressman.
DC doesn’t have that right
Congress has full control over DC.
It does not get to vote for any of them. Each of those members deciding DCs fate represent someone else.
