I guess anyone can make their own schedule by just making up a goofy religion that prohibits them from working during days/times they don’t wish to work.

You can also convert to other religions that have a bar against working on Fridays. If there isn't one...just invent one.

In the free UK people can opt out of working sunday without having to justify it. It needs extending for other faiths.
