A big takeaway that gets ignored is how complex democrat economic policy is in comparison to republicans and especially Trump

it’s certainly worth asking if a few of Harris’s economic policy proposals are viable or if she could even accomplish them with Congress if she tried.

What’s also important to note, however, is that there is a variety; they are complex; and they are creative.

That’s always been true about leftwing economic ideas. It’s out of the box thinking in a changing economy. What’s republican policy in comparison? All we get is “lower taxes for corporations and the wealthy. Derp!” It’s the same damn thing with every republican politician and those polices do not actually spur economic growth. Why would corporations invest the money they save from tax cuts in labor if it is just easier for them to keep it? As far as what rich spend with everyday purchases, they spend as much as someone in the middle class. Consumer spending from them is not going to boost the economy.

Now I’ll give the Trump campaign credit for the no tax on tips idea that Harris copied, but I guarantee you Trump himself did not come up with that idea. Either because he would never give a shit about those type of workers to want to help them, he’s too stupid, or both.

lol you idiots so easily miss the point. The extent of how viable the policy is is besides my point.

But to answer your question, it’s to offer tax incentives to companies who create new starter homes and homes meant for rent. They also plan on a $25,000 subsidy to any first time buyer.

Tax cuts for the rich eh?

You're right, that's creative and complex.

Define “rich” in this context. Can you? Of course, either way, this is a targeted incentive rather than a general one that does absolutely nothing for the poor or middle class.

I see, so democrats tax cuts for the rich is good because it targets specific rich people.

Keep digging, you're doing great.

If the tax incentives would encourage more building, they are not keeping the money to spend for themselves now are they?

Sounds a lot like trickledown economics to me, you know....That thing democrats swear don't work.

Except that it clearly isn’t and you’re just pretending it is lol

Let's see.

You give a tax break to some very specific rich people and because you let them keep more of their money, they invest in something poor people use.

That sound about right?
