Lori Loughlin had become a popular American TV personality and media celebrity and audiences liked her Hallmark holiday-season movies. However, no one knew Lori was also actually the American superheroine Spider-Woman who wanted to understand how commerce and capitalism (and the media) were corrupting basic social values regarding democracy and justice. Spider-Woman was concerned about the media's coverage of scandals and the glorification of criminals.
Spider-Woman (Lori) went to the new Native-American casino the Mohegan Sun (in Connecticut), since she was intrigued by the prospect of pluralism-politics being 'mixed' with modern capitalism and even the entertainment industry. However, Spider-Woman discovered that the ethnic minority owned/operated Connecticut casino was being harassed by a mafia crime syndicate known as 'Black Hand' and furthermore was being haunted by the omen-delivering spirit of a Native-American war-chief named Sitting Chief.
Spider-Woman had a dream later while she was sleeping that the Mohegan Sun would become some king of 'relic' or totem of pure capitalism deterioration and hence a 'beacon' for anyone wanting to 'indulge' in the proverbial/prophetic commerce-gauged 'evil city.' Spider-Woman (Lori) imagined that the Mohegan Sun casino was an 'analogy' (or perhaps anagram!) for the lost cities of Sodom and Gomorrah (characterized as 'doomed settlements' in the Christian Bible). Spider-Woman realized that if she didn't do anything, she would allow the Mohegan Sun to become a 'vestige' of commercial vanities (e.g., consumerism obesity, entertainment industry sloth, etc.).
Spider-Woman (Lori) decided to use her Hallmark holiday-movie connections to promote democratic awareness of the gambling industry in America. She made a movie about a stockbroker who lost all his money while investing on Wall Street and had to regather his wits to find his religious grounding during Christmas. As Lori, she felt happy about the media-presentation of capitalism-related 'values.' As Spider-Woman, she continued to analyze commercialism 'iconography' (e.g., Starbucks, American Express, Bank of America, etc.). Spider-Woman concluded that capitalism-culture required 'anti-McCarthyism chivalry.'
Spider-Woman spent her days promoting free-speech and intellectual freedom within the context of capitalism/consumerism conveniences (e.g., WikiLeaks). She remembered her dream about Mohegan Sun and the corruption that creates frustration in a commerce-gauged civilization. She remembered encountering the ghost of Sitting Chief at the Mohegan Sun casino and how the spirit reminded her of the need to promote capitalism evaluation. Spider-Woman decided to become a close liaison and 'culture-etiquette' consultant for U.S. First Lady Melania Trump and the White House! Would capitalism/democracy shine as a 'signpost' for true teamwork?
