Walmart Shooter Targeted White Victims

Why is this man not being charged with a hate crime. If a white person walked into a place and started shooting just black people and said he chose them because they were black Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson and If I had a son OBAMA would say it was hate crime. But because the shooter is Black and the victims were white he is not being charged with a hate crime.. He is only being charged for four counts of attempted first-degree murder. Why the double standard, I know because the Media and the government and even the blacks in this country think they can not be deemed racist just because they are black..
