Trump Appoints Fake Elector As Campaign Advisor In Nevada, A State He Still Claims He Won In 2020

Donald Trump named election denier and indicted fake elector Michael McDonald as senior advisor to his Nevada campaign earlier this week, signaling that the battleground state will continue to be an area of Big Lie fixation if the Republican loses the state in November.

McDonald was one of six Republicans accused of falsely certifying the results of the 2020 election in Nevada in favor of Trump, despite the fact that Joe Biden won the state by more than 30,000 votes. A Nevada state court dismissed the criminal indictment in June of this year, but in response, Democratic Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford has pledged to appeal the decision.

As recently as last month, Trump, during an interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, repeated lies about the 2020 election in Nevada, claiming that he won the state: “And I really believe that bad things happened. … I really think we did incredibly, and we, somehow the vote wasn’t there. But I believe we won very strongly, by a lot.”

It could be the first reaction among The Following to a story such as this is "why are you bothering with such trivial matters?" That's the point.

Admittedly, hiring someone who had his criminal indictment dropped on a technicality to work as a campaign advisor is small potatoes compared to the act of trying to steal an election. Though McDonald was a participant in that act. It's indicative of a recognition there is no political price to be paid for rewarding traitors. Or supporting them as Don has done with the imprisoned members of his 1/6 mob in return for their service to him. That's revolutionary.

Personally, I don't think being a divorcee should be a political death warrant like it used to be. But a criminal conviction should. So too should being found liable for sexual assault by a jury. Stealing from a charity.....you're done. But no longer.

It's all acceptable now. You can schtoink a pornographic film star months after your wife gave birth to your child, brag on tape about getting away with grabbing women's vajayjay's, and be sued for insulting the woman you raped. You can surround yourself with criminals, be one yourself, stand idly by as your supporters physically threaten members of the legal system, and use a mug shot to solicit donations.

Not acceptable for everyone though. Good luck getting elected mayor of a small town with that resume. Bankruptcies, being sued for fraud, defamation, cheating on tax returns, settling a race discrimination suit, defending war criminals, rape, those are disqualifying liabilities for all but one person. Only Don's supporters know why they aren't for him.
I thought this was going to be about BLM.

it's amazing how demofks like you have no idea of how this works. guess what, when trump goes to the republican convention, the states will provide delegates who are the electors for Trump!!! It's where electors come from, the states and those appointed to vote for trump!!! creepy has his, and at his convention, states will designate the electors to him or, renounce him in favor of someone else. That's what the convention is for. fk you all are such uniformed biggots with no knowledge of the USA!

Exactly. Why not?
Trump has been in political terms "vetted" more than any person in not just in American political history, but in human history. It is clear he is attacked because of running for President. Just like our system seems to be in the mold of the Soviet Union in accusations now. Tomorrow there will most likely be another accusation. Common people would go bankrupt with this level of persecution. So, figure out why people do not care as no Progs do anything wrong in this environment. Hunter and Jill are even running the country if we spew Prog talk or are least in the meetings of important information to represent Joe. I keep saying...Fiat Currency.

You can called them a can of beans if it makes you feel better.

On July 18, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel criminally charged the 16 individuals in Michigan who signed legal documents on December 14, 2020 falsely claiming to be electors for Donald Trump in the Electoral College, despite Trump having lost the state by a margin of 154,000 votes. Michigan was one of seven states where “fake electors” claimed that Donald Trump won the 2020 presidential election in their state. As of August 10, all 16 defendants have been arraigned in the District Court in Ingham County. All 16 defendants pled not guilty on all eight counts of their individual indictments. In October 2023, James Renner had all his charges dropped after entering into a cooperating agreement with AG Nessel. Preliminary hearings were held for 6 of the 16 individuals in late April; examinations resumed on May 28 for the remaining nine defendants. In April 2024, an investigator for AG Nessel identified multiple individuals, including former President Donald Trump, as “unindicted co-conspirators” in the case.
Your sham prosecutions no longer hold any weight. These were clearly alternate electors.

We don't believe the crap and never did. That's what you cannot understand. Did you know that Biden was with Trump when he made the suckers and losers comment? He was standing right beside him and heard the whole thing. Yeah. That's a lie too.

I didn't realize the whataboutism had escalated to banging her. What next, she had his love child?

What if you were the parent of an eight year old girl who approached you and asked, "who are Stormy Daniels and E. Jean Carroll?" Would you be comfortable explaining who they are, why they are relevant, and why you voted for Trump anyway?
