ACLU Of Oregon Gets Restraining Order

Against Trump and Barr goons.

“This order is a victory for the rule of law,” Jann Carson, interim executive director of the ACLU of Oregon, said in a statement. “Federal agents from Trump’s Departments of Homeland Security and Justice are terrorizing the community, threatening lives, and relentlessly attacking journalists and legal observers documenting protests. These are the actions of a tyrant, and they have no place anywhere in America.”

It's been coming and look for more of this. Rump is, once again, out of control and the Courts won't stand for it.

Deal with it.
Deal with what? That order changes nothing
Sure it does. Straight from Federal Court.

"PORTLAND, Ore.— U.S. District Judge Michael Simon today blocked federal agents in Portland from dispersing, arresting, threatening to arrest, or targeting force against journalists or legal observers at protests. The court’s order, which comes in response to a lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union of Oregon, adds the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Marshals Service to an existing injunction barring Portland police from arresting or attacking journalists and legal observers at Portland protests.
Under the court order, federal agents also cannot unlawfully seize any photographic equipment, audio- or video-recording equipment, or press passes from journalists and legal observers, or order journalists or legal observers to stop photographing, recording, or observing a protest."

:laughing0301: They can still protect the federal buildings, and that is all they've been doing.

They've been rounding up people on the Streets of Portland without cause. Due Process was thrown out the window. Now they can't just willy nilly do that like they have been doing. The Protest at the Federal Build was against this action and then they gassed the Mayor while he was peaceful on City Property. It's just that simple. The Feds are quest in Portland. It's like inviting someone into your house and they kick the crap out of you and then say it's your fault. Not very good visitors.

You will see more of this from the Courts. Another case of Rump breaking the law to try and get reelected. And you support him. Yes, I believe he could murder someone on 5th Ave in NY and you would say that he can do it and continue murdering people. Rump was right in that respect. You Party of the Rumpsters don't give a rats ass about the US Constitution, State Constitutions and City Charters.

If you can get your mommy to read the link for you, she'll tell you that the order only protects journalists and observers...

Federal officers can still tear gas or arrest rioters (including the mayor)...

Yes, Rioters on Federal Controlled Property. I think the Mayor is soft pedaling what they legally should be doing and that is to arrest, try and convict some of the Feds. If the Feds want to keep doing what they've been doing on the streets, treat them exactly like a Civilian. That's coming, you watch.

But, no fucking skin off your sorry ass, so.....

Actually, that would make things interesting, since federal law trumps state law (and the federal judges probably wouldn't appreciate having their courthouse burned down because of the mayor's support for the rioters)...

Give it up, the guy has no compass, and is just t-rolling and tossing with the waves. But then again I am entertained by you schooling him. Carry on.

If black lives matter, why is no one rioting over the black kid shot by a white kid in CHOP? I thought black lives matter, or is it just some black lives matter?

Better go to Chicago to get your answer, because they definitely think that only some black lives matter, and not all black lives matter. I bet they wish that somehow they could hide the inner cities, because it makes the entire movement look a fraud.
