Parents should remember that children will always be, and have been since the beginning of time, very active. They want to play too. :)

Let's not make the same willy nilly mistake the Greeks made when they created a pantheon of gods. This is called Greek Mythology and started sometime around when Homer chronicled The Iliad in the 7th century BC.

Wanting every advantage for their child, parents will justify their actions for giving amphetamines to their children. They'll say that my children will sit still and learn more than the rest, if I give RX drugs. It is a self-fulfilling prophecy and will steal away their child's true imagination.

Let children have their intended youth and play when they want to. Of course, during class this is not desired. Yet, how hard can it be for parents to teach their children to sit still in a structured environment? Do that, which is a much better endeavor than having those children take psychiatric drugs, possibly, for the rest of their lives.

C'mon mothers and fathers of America, have a heart and let today's youth come forth without powerful drugs!

What do you say about your child?
