The surveillance footage is interesting.

After the MAGA crowd went batshit crazy over an immigrant who was charged with attacking and beating a New York City Police office in Times Square, all of the charges were dropped by the police when it turned out to be a case of mistaken identity. No immigrants attacked any police in Times Square.

Actually, not a good analogy.

in 72 hours or 90 days or whatever, they would have a hearing. I know this because I had to evict some tenants from a property I was trying to sell in 2000, and yes, we had a prompt hearing on it (and the squatters moved out before we got there. I also got an award of one months back rent that I never saw, but I didn't care at that point.)

The problem with the asylum seekers is that we've granted them asylum, but then they never get their hearing dates. Mrs. B131 has been waiting 7 years for her hearing. What should be a slam-dunk case according to rules we've established.
