After what the stupid party did in Colorado, they will soon be history.

Mindless sheeple will defend the establishment and their chicanery. "rule changes" are perfectly acceptable...

AGAIN.... There was no rule change! The caucus in Colorado operated by the same rules that have been in place for Colorado since 1912.

You're a mindless zombie. They changed the rules in August of 2015 - right after they realized Trump would dominate. Wake the fuck up!!

Colorado Republicans cancel presidential vote at 2016 caucus

Who cares? They changed the rules 7months ago not last week. Trump was asleep at the wheel...get over it

But I thought they didn't change the rules?

You sheeple need to get your lies straight.......

PS- I have nothing to get over bub. The GOP is corrupt. They've gotten over on you. WAKE THE FUCK UP!

The GOP, which is correctly known as the stupid party, oh wow, they really did themselves in by screwing the voters in Colorado. From voters burning their GOP papers, to Rush Limbaugh saying the GOP has done itself decades of damage. Where I believe Rush is wrong is, the stupid party would be fortunate to have done themselves decades of damage, because I think the stupid party will soon be history, just like the Whig Party.

Several members of my family, and friends are leaving the GOP over this, and finally going third party. I've always been registered third party because I always knew the GOP was just as big of a pile of shit as the Democratic Party.

I truly hope this the end of the GOP, it would serve them right for decades of hating their voting base, lying to them, stabbing them in the back, betraying America.

Burn in hell GOP

What moronic bullshit ....

As a republican in Colorado, I can assure you they did just exactly what the people said they should do. This system has been in place for years, and nobody complained. Now, all of sudden, we get a bunch of election idiots who want to change it just because they didn't get an answer they like.

Get over it ...

As for your family and friends ... go third party, throw away your votes on a meaningless statement, and hand the election to Hillary. You should be proud that stupidity runs so rampant in your family.

shut up moron..I never had a problem with Trump, until he started acting a fool. I 'll still vote for him over the witch so STFU...You don't know me you old fool

I won't... I'm done! Done with whiny and petulant Trump AND his supporters. I'll stay home or vote 3rd party before I vote for Trump... you can thank his sleazy despicable tactics and his equally sleazy despicable supporters.
#NeverTrump

Another vote thrown away ... if you want to make a statement, buy a fucking sign, don't waste your vote.

You know what's funny? For years the GOP has accused the Democrats of rigging elections.

Now? They are openly doing it themselves, no more back room deals, they are so arrogant that they do it in public where everyone can see.
Yep --- that explains why Sanders wins a state by over 15%, and Hillary gets more delegates. It ain't fixed ... nahhhh.

Sorry... I was ready and prepared to vote for Trump over the Socialists... still wish I could. I hate like hell to think of what they're going to do to our nation with another 4 years in power... BUT... I cannot support this man any longer. If he wins the nomination, I will not vote for him. His sleazeball tactics and the general smart-ass attitude of his supporters has turned me against him and I ain't coming back.... Color me DONE!

Bernie seems to be doing just fine. Waaaaay better than expected. You want to see something the Democrats have that the GOP doesn't?

Colorado Caucus Election Results

What I want to see is you calling out Hillary for her cheating; otherwise you're just a cherry picking asshole.
You want to know how much I care about Hillary? I spend zero seconds of my day thinking about Hillary. I have 2 priorities for this election. Convincing people that Cruz is a lying, cheating asshole lunatic (which he is); and convincing people that supporting Sanders, an open and unapologetic communist is a disaster for this country.

If it's Trump vs. Hillary I can stay home and laugh and laugh and laugh. If it's Cruz vs. Sanders then it's time to start thinking maybe the crazies are right and the country really is lost.

HIllary and Cruz are virtually the same person.

And yet still no evidence that anything was rigged. Cruz has an amazing organization and his hard work paid off. Trump showed up at the lady second, did crappy work, and thus won nothing.

But somehow that's the party's fault.

No wonder this country is going to hell. You all want to blame others for why you didn't get what you want when you didn't put any effort into getting it.

Dude, you've been shown evidence. And yet, you perpetuate this mindless organization spin. I've lost respect for you; I honestly have.

Actually, no you haven't. Granted I actually take evidence to mean something more than baseless asccusations so that could be the disconnect.

BTW there is absolutely nothing in your history that shows I should care about your respect. Especially if you are going to pretend Trump was cheated when he didn't bother showing up to compete.

So, you're saying the memo wasn't real? You're saying the Trump delegate wasn't denied? You're saying Cruz didn't have his number double printed instead of Trump? You're saying that the caucuses weren't abandoned in favor of a delegate system for the cronies to pick their guy? This is evidence; and it all points to the very well established collusion that was effectively verified by the Colorado GOP's f you voters tweet. That's not a party that values the votes of hard working everyday Americans; it's a country club; and good luck to you if you think that's enough.

And of course Trump didn't show up to the dog and pony show. I wouldn't have either. Naturally, Cruz did show up to rub elbows with his fellow thieves in their den.

I hardly think a typo is a vast conspiracy. If there was a conspiracy, I'm pretty sure they could come up with a far superior one if they wanted.

And the evidence shows trump had tepid support at the caucuses, that his campaign was throwing a slate together at the Las minute and trump himself didn't care about it enough to show up.

You think putting in minimal effort entitles you to delegates and if you don't get it there is some great conspiracy to deny you. That's childish.

Cruz was putting together his organization for months, trumps campaign showed up on the last day.

But yeah clearly it was stolen from you. No possible other explanation.

There you have it. You think you're entitled and that authoritarian means are justified. They're not. You've said it's okay to disregard the voice of the people. Cruz can't win like this. People will stay home. They're not going to rally around some snake that acts like Hillary Clinton; they're just not.

People aren't going to "rally around" some whiners, who failed to do what they needed to do to win the delegates than cries about it...Only the fellow whiners and conspiracy nuts.

What they had to do was this undignified; even then, sh** was rigged. Stop making excuses for ignoring the will of the people, d-bag.

Look at Cruz's mind blowing "organization" and "work"!

This circus is an f'ing disgrace. And you have the gall to tell the people of Colorado that they should not be allowed the right to vote? Fuck that. My relatives didn't take bullets for this nonsense!

If you want "will of the people" you need to contact Trump and tell him to surrender 8% of his delegates. He has received 37% of the GOP popular vote nationally but holds 45% of the delegates.... So let's have him give up those delegates he doesn't deserve because "will of the people" is what counts, right?

Those "whiners" lead your bitchass by 3 million votes. It would be even more if your establishment had allowed the people of Colorado to vote.

Not nearly that many votes separate the two. Try around half that.

Not that it's at all relevant

How much does Lyin' Ted have to cheat and sell himself out to the establishment for you to have a problem with him? Or have you embraced your inner RINO... :fu:

Well, it would probably help your argument if he did any of that and you weren't talking out your rear

I'm fine with that. Trump would still win the plurality. Now, stfu, hack.

But plurality has never nominated the GOP candidate. That's not the rules... you don't want a "rigged" system do you? The nominee must receive a MAJORITY of delegates.. been that way since the party's inception in 1856. You say you wan't "will of the people" but the will of the people is they mostly don't want Trump. So do you WANT will of the people or NOT?

A Republican in Colorado. Really. Well this is interesting because they changed the rules last August. This was designed to keep non establishment candidates from winning the state.

Motive:

"The Colorado system often favors anti-establishment candidates who draw a dedicated following among activists — as evidenced by Rick Santorum's victory in 2012 caucus. So the party's move may hurt GOP contenders such as Donald Trump, Ben Carson and Rand Paul, who would have received a boost if they won the state."

The BIG WHOPPER

"The move, he said, would give Colorado delegates the freedom to support any candidate eligible at the Cleveland convention in July. Republican National Committee officials confirmed that the change complies with party rules."

Step 1:

"The GOP executive committee has voted to cancel the traditional presidential preference poll after the national party changed its rules to require a state's delegates to support the candidate who wins the caucus vote."

Step 2 And please notice 6 members were absent for the vote

"State Republican Party Chairman Steve House said the party's 24-member executive committee made the unanimous decision Friday — six members were absent — to skip the preference poll."

Don't want Trump? Latest NBC poll has Hillary and Trump in a statistical dead heat.

And regarding rules. The RNC are constantly changing them to ensure their candidate is the nominee. Like they did in 2012 with the 8 state rule that most likely will be rescinded just before the convention.

I live in Colorado--and really this is a great example of a caucus state. We have been trying to get the State to go to a primary ballot, and it's been the far out right that has fought it. They believe that the caucus gives them more power, and yes indeed it did, but if you're one of the Trump supporters it's came back to bite them in the ass.
No one broke any rules, no violation was committed. It's just e

lection
You know, it still kills me that the GOP has continually accused the Dems of doing dirty tricks during elections, but it is actually the GOP that is displaying election shenanigans in full view of everyone!

I live in Colorado and here is what happened. Those that voted for Trump at their local caucus's. Then Trump delegates were selected to go to the state convention. At the state convention the place was loaded up with Evangelicals, who are going to the National Convention who would not support the Trump delegate. So everything went to Cruz.

They did nothing wrong according to the rules. None of National delegates in Colorado are pledged to anyone, and they at their own discretion can choose where their delegate vote goes, even if it goes against the majority.

It's crazy but it's in the rules. For years we've been trying to get a Presidential primary going on in this state, and the ones that fight it the most are the right wing of the party. This time it came back to bite them in the ass. They feel a Presidential primary would take away their individual power, and they're right it would. So if anyone is to blame, it's the ones that still support a caucus in this state, and all the Evangelicals in this state that feel they have the authority to overrule the majority.

If you're a Coloradoan and don't like what just happened here, there is and has been a movement to go to a Presidential primary. It's on Facebook, then go to "Kill the Caucus" and push the like button. You'll read more articles about this also.

Well GOP delegates aren't decided by NBC News polls. Sorry.

If Trump fails to get a MAJORITY of delegates by the convention, then MOST of the party delegates do not want Trump. That's what a MAJORITY of delegates means. It means, of a certain number, you had the majority.... not the most but the majority. If you didn't get the majority, it means the majority you didn't get. Understand?

If Trump doesn't get 1,237 delegates it means that MORE than 1,237 delegates didn't want Trump... they wanted someone other than Trump. You're trying to claim that we should disregard what the majority wants and focus on popularity. The GOP doesn't nominate candidates by popularity, they require a majority of delegates.

Now... let me prepare you for what's about to go down. Trump has totally alienated everyone in the GOP who isn't in his corner. So when he doesn't get the nomination on the first ballot, he will fail to gain the delegates released on the second ballot and those will likely go to Ted Cruz, who hasn't alienated the rest of the GOP. Cruz might also cut a deal with Kasich or Rubio exchanging the VP spot for their delegates which puts him well over the 1,237 delegate requirement.

In the end, Cruz will have defeated Trump in the political game of securing the nomination because Cruz knew what he was doing. He organized, he worked hard and did what he needed to do to get there and Trump failed. It won't be the first time Trump has failed. He needs to stick to real estate deals because that's what he knows how to do.

I'm gonna tell ya something... What Cruz has done is phenomenal
