Al-Qaeda Stronger Than Ever After 5 Years Of Obama’s Policies

Let's just stay out of it and rebuild America?

Wasn't that what President Clinton had chosen to do?

February 1993 - A bomb in a van explodes in the underground parking garage in New York's World Trade Center, killing six people and wounding 1,042.

Nov. 13, 1995 - A car-bomb in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia kills seven people, five of them American military and civilian advisers for National Guard training. The "Tigers of the Gulf," "Islamist Movement for Change," and "Fighting Advocates of God" claim responsibility.

June 25, 1996 - A bomb aboard a fuel truck explodes outside a U.S. air force installation in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. 19 U.S. military personnel are killed in the Khubar Towers housing facility, and 515 are wounded, including 240 Americans.

Aug. 7, 1998 - Terrorist bombs destroy the U.S. embassies in Nairobi, Kenya and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. In Nairobi, 12 Americans are among the 291 killed, and over 5,000 are wounded, including 6 Americans. In Dar es Salaam, one U.S. citizen is wounded among the 10 killed and 77 injured.

Oct. 12, 2000 - A terrorist bomb damages the destroyer USS Cole in the port of Aden, Yemen, killing 17 sailors and injuring 39.

What's the plan? Ban radical islam throughout the middle east???

Some years back, there was a world power that sought to do so. And we defeated it.

Is Al-Qaeda stronger than ever? No it would not be accurate or fair to say that on the flip side it would also not be fair to claim they are decimated and on the run either they have morphed they are no longer one central group as they were under Bin Laden but now many separate groups not under a single command but sharing the same views, goals and ideology it's still Al-Qaeda just in a new form.

God you're stupid. You are too stupid to breathe and type at the same time. You must be on some sort of ventilator or maybe one of those "Type n' Talk" programs.

So Dick Cheney's war is now Obama's fault. God you're as dumb as a bag of rocks.

The neo-cons and the 21st century group started the war in the first Bush administration.

The Obama administration has had to deal with the fall out ever since.

Every neo-con should be rounded up and shipped to Gitmo.

Muslims are killing each other in Syria and Iraq, and soon they will have no one to kill but each other in Afghanistan.

Maybe that's Obama's foreign policy in the Middle East. Let them kill each other like they have been for centuries when they can't rustle up any Infidels to kill.

There weren't any western infidels in Afghanistan in 2001 or before that we know what they did then.

Well, if that's Obama's policy...let them kill each other...do you agree with it?

I don't think Obama has any kind of a foreign policy but if that is his policy no I don't agree with it because sooner or later they get tired of killing each other and turn their attention back to us hating and wanting to kill Americans is the one thing that can always seem to unite them in the Middle East.

This just goes to show you how popular Al Qaeda is within the general population of the middle east. The muslim brother hood won the Egypt elections with the extremist out right a few years ago.

How can you tame such a beast???

No, it shows just how popular America's enemies are with the far right wing of the Republican party when they are no longer relevant on the national stage.

First you get a source that would make Alex Jones laugh at in terms of believe-ability. Next you ignore all of the evidence to the contrary (in the Clinton administration, they had synchronized car bombs on 2 sides of a large continent in broad daylight, During Bush they hijacked planes and flew them into buildings, under Obama, they are forced to attack with small arms at night and had victims that died due to smoke inhalation). And then you have the, what I would call thoroughly anti-American, audaciousness to make such a thread all the while casting yourself as some sort of hero for the country.

I sometimes wish Obama was the tyrant these fools make him out to be. AJ being locked up for all eternity would be a crime but it would be poetic justice for shit like this.

Am I the only one who saw the video clip tonight of the gunmen in turbines running along with those guns in their hands. A friend and I remarked how tightly wound up those turbines were around their faces. And how oddly they "ran" along with the guns in their hands. Their bodies looked rather American underneath the clothes. Several of them were tall, and fat. When they ran they looked like old women shuffle-running instead of lean, young rebels. Lots of fair skin just barely visible under those weird makeshift turbines that weren't wrapped properly.

It's the tubby ramshackle crew near the end. These guys don't look like ripped young Al Qaida guys. Their figures look very American.

Obama is still cleaning up after Bush/Cheney.

You have Al-Qaeda affiliated groups in Libya in the Syrian civil war the hard line but pro western Mubarak tossed under the Bus for the radical Muslin Brotherhood in Egypt who in turn got ousted by a military coup Iran has pretty much told the West to F-OFF and it looks like were getting ready to pull all our military assets out of Afghanistan the results of which will likely be the same as were now seeing in Iraq. These messes and other's brought to you courtesy of President Obama not Bush/Cheney.

Al-Qaeda ''types'' are NOT Al-Qaeda. But thanks to Booosh for turning 100 Al-Qaeda into hundreds of thousands of jihadis, AND for wrecking the world economy which makes jihad a good career move...this too shall pass, when mindless Pubs allow it...pretty soon regular muslims will have had enough of these a-holes......

How the Arab Spring Unleashed Al Qaeda

Open up a national newspaper and flip to the stories about the Middle East. The daily toll of bombings and shootings, starving refugees and demolished cities have little resemblance to the cheerful stories about the transformation of the Middle East that were running during the boom days of the Arab Spring.

There isn’t much mention of the Arab Spring anymore. The same media outlets that were predicting that the Middle East was about to turn into Europe have fallen silent. They are eager to forget their own lies.

But it was the Arab Spring that unleashed this horror. The Arab Spring was not an outburst of popular democratic sentiment. It was a power struggle of a clearly sectarian nature. It was the rise of Sunni Islam under the black and white Salafist flags.

Obama and his people favored takeovers by “moderate” Salafi groups that appeared to accept Western ideas such as democracy and modernization. The “moderate” Salafis however worked closely with their “immoderate” Salafi cousins playing a game of Good Salafi and Bad Salafi with America.

The “moderate” Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt opened the door for Al Qaeda in the Sinai. Its Syrian branch, along with other “moderate” Salafist militias in the Free Syrian Army, fought alongside the Al-Nusra Front which was then Al Qaeda in Syria.

The takeovers led to civil war in Egypt and Syria and escalated a sectarian regional conflict between Sunnis and Shiites. The biggest beneficiary of the Arab Spring was Al Qaeda in Iraq.

I think the Obama administration knew what was coming all along. The Muslim Brotherhood wasn't exactly secret about their mission and many people predicted this. I don't think Obama is so naïve that he didn't know the MB was poised to take over Egypt and keep going. He helped them.

Yeah the idiots did. I called this outcome back in 02. There was no other way for it to go.

W and DICK unleashed a civil war in Iraq when they started their illegal war. Al Qaeda has been playing off that civil war between the Shiite and Sunni populations every since. It won't stop with this President and it won't stop with the next. The Right Wing will try to politicize this, but unfortunately the voting population can read and they understand what is happening.

W and DICK can just sit back in their easy chairs and enjoy their retirement.
