Alabama cop charged with murder in fatal shooting

Heard about this incident yesterday....almost no details were released. They just charged the white cop with murder for killing the black man. Only details released are:

- Cop stopped to speak to a black man at 3:20 a.m. as a "suspicious person" walking in a neighborhood
- The black man was carrying a stick like item...which after the fact was found to be a metal paint roller extension bar that the family called a "cane"
- Some type of struggle ensued which Montgomery PD hasn't detailed
- The officer shot the man
