It would make sense, with Trump's focus on deportation of illegals, that this would be the case but it doesn't mean they are committing more crimes, does it?

I never infer, insinuate, or imply anything. In fact, in case you missed it, the link at the bottom of the OP, states clearly that it is immigration offenses that is the issue.

As for aliens commiting more crimes, they are. Simple fact. And the number of Drug, property and gun crime arrests among aliens is undercounted severely, because so many have false documentation that makes them appear to be citizens, plus the numbers are coming from FEDERAL arrests, not state, which deals with 99% of Drug, property and gun crime. And in many of these, no one asks about citizenship.
