:puhleeze:Like I said it's Joe Biden's (Dept of Commerce) graph.

And I've already addressed your oil production brags - election year postering. (and the EIA chart numbers prove it).. Ho hum. You're spinning your wheels.

With unemployment consistently below 4%, it appears there is definitely not a big labor excess.

You do realize that people who are no looking for work but are still unemployed aren't counted in that number, right?

So if 100,000 give up looking for a job, they are no longer considered unemployed and the rate will thus drop accordingly.

From MAY of 2023?

You think a projection from almost a year ago is VALID?
You're the the one..............spinning wheels.

You're "graph" is BULLSHIT.
Actually. I partially agree with you. The 4.9 GDP of 2023 Q3 is a joke. Biden propped that up to make it look good....but he wouldn't be lying about the DROP down to 3.3. That doesn't make him look good.

The real numbers probably are 2.0 for Q3 of 2023 (a continuation of the previous Q2) and a drop to 1.0 for Q4.
Biden couldnt allow that to show up though, as that would be 5 consecutive quarters of declining GDP,
ie. 4 consecutive RECESSIONS.

To sum up, the economy is a basket case.

IF it was, people wouldn't be spending $$$, buying stuff, and they are.

No they are not. The economy is in DECLINE. GDP FALLING.

Has been going through consecutive recessions since July 2022, and we had 2 quarters of NEGATIVE growth (below zero GDP) before that.

This is one of the lousiest economic records of any president in US history.

YES, they do.
It's PROJECTION, dumbass.
The CHART is from MAY of 2023.
Earlier than the EARLIEST date you posted.
Looks like you can't read a graph. It very CLEARLY shows a blue bar going to the end of the 4th quarter of 2023, and overlapping into the first quarter of 2024 (January 2024)

Maybe you need stronger glasses. You're making a fool out of yourself.

When you actually look inside the jobs numbers, hey aren't good news at all. Just some numbers thrown out by Biden's BLS.

But look deeper and you will see things like this.

Assuming this is accurate--ZeroHedge has more that 1.7 million followers on X and has many millions of readers of its blog and posts some very informative stuff that the left usually labels conspiracy theory and/or pseudoscience--I am not surprised at those numbers. Obama's legacy as a job creator that thanks to his anti-American policies--Obamacare was a huge one--more than 90% of jobs created in the Obama years were part time or temporary with few or no benefits.

And since the conventional wisdom is that Obama is still running the government. . .

Also Biden takes credit for 'creating millions of jobs' when in fact many of those were simply people going to to jobs that were temporarily suspended when employers were forced to close because of COVID-19 policies.

The left likes to point out that Trump was a negative job creator, but no other President EVER has had to deal with COVID-19 that literally shut down the economy for two weeks and then many governors would not allow much of the economy to reopen. ANY President who had that happen in his/her term of office would have seen the same drastic job loss.
