Nobody refused to raise the debt ceiling. We all know full well we have to pay off you peoples ridiculous spending spree. All that was being asked for was to get this shit under control. Make some cuts, pay off the debt and stop adding to it.

The adults in the room know that keeping up the spending at the levels you want will eventually run into an automatic default. We reasonable people are trying to avoid that.
