Well, they say they are giving $750 to all the hurricane victims.
Not sure how far $750 will take a person who just lost everything.
How do you even apply for the aid when you just lost everything you have and can't even find food, shelter and have no phone or electricity?
That said, if there are 10 million victims who apply, that would add up to about 7.5 billion dollars.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg ordered private drone flights suspended in North Carolina’s Hurricane Helene flood zone, sparking fierce outcry from those frustrated by the government’s lackluster response to the deadly crisis.
“Drone pilots: Do not fly your drone near or around rescue and recovery efforts for Hurricane Helene,” the official DOT X account wrote Tuesday afternoon, nearly a week after the storm brought near-unprecedented flooding to the mountainous region.
“Interfering with emergency response operations impacts search and rescue operations on the ground,” the announcement continued.
North Carolina has suffered the brunt of the death toll from last week’s historic storm, the west of the state accounting for 94 of the more than 200 casualties confirmed by authorities so far, with hundreds more still unaccounted for.
Despite these grim figures, many have expressed deep dissatisfaction or even anger with the tepid response from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), which is on the verge of running out of funds after spending $640 million on the migrant crisis.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas warned Wednesday that the Federal Emergency Management Agency, which has spent more than one billion dollars on services for illegal immigrants over the past year, now has insufficient funds to last through the hurricane season.

The Biden-Harris administration's 'America Last' policies have left the country vulnerable. Between draining the strategic petroleum reserve, sending hundreds of billions in cash and equipment to Ukraine (such as electrical transformers that are now needed for Hurricane Helene), and FEMA spending $640 million to help migrants, the agency tasked with emergency preparedness is now 'broke,' and doesn't have enough money to get through hurricane season which typically lasts through November.
According to AP,

The agency is being stretched as it works with states to assess damage from Hurricane Helene and delivers meals, water, generators and other critical supplies. The storm struck Florida last week, then plowed through several states in the Southeast, flooding towns and killing more than 160 people. ​

Mayorkas was not specific about how much additional money the agency may need, but his remarks on Air Force One underscored concerns voiced by President Joe Biden and some lawmakers earlier this week that Congress may need to pass a supplemental spending bill this fall to help states with recovery efforts.​

"We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have. We are expecting another hurricane hitting," said Mayorkas, adding "FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season.

There's a cry being shouted by the victims of Hurricane Helene in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, & Tennessee for basic necessities like water, food, blankets and shelter.
It's totally unconscionable that the Biden Administration, and his fellow Neo-Marxist travelers and their weaponzied agencies refuse to assist the victims of Hurricane Helene..
It appears that Emergency management and disaster relief are no longer the primary job of FEMA. EQUITY has become their primary job.
White Americans are not included any longer in the efforts of FEMA...
Four years ago Joey BaiDung promised $1500 checks as part of his election snake oil sale.
Today the offer is $750 to those white folks in Appalachia that have been wiped out by Hurricane Helene.
