The current inflation rate I believe is somewhere around 14% a month. That is why my gas prices have gone up about 70% and my grocery bill jumped to over $300 last week for the first time EVER!

Last I checked, the elected officials are tasked with pursuing policies that mitigate macro economic risk and stimulate positive econometrics. Inflation can hit any Administration. Sitting back and telling the American People they can afford hyperinflation is not a strategy. It’s a cop out.

No one is arguing that the government has the ability to control inflation. The Government does have the ability to pursue policy and action to mitigate the country’s exposure to inflation risk. Telling the country that they make enough money to pay for inflation is not a strategy.
