Another big weekend in Democrat-run Chicago: over 100 people shot, at least 19 dead

Great news for the left, and especially the Democrat party, they LOVE these kinds of things!

In keeping with Planned Parenthood's goals, many of the victims were children, including three under 8 years old. Nearly all were black.

Chicago, like all of Illinois, has a 72-hour waiting period on gun purchases, a red flag law, an “assault weapons” ban, a “high capacity” magazine ban, and a Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) card requirement. The process of acquiring a FOID card involves a thorough background check by the Illinois State Police.

Additionally, Cook County, where Chicago is seated, has its own “assault weapons” ban and ban on “high capacity” magazines. Yet at least 100 people were shot in the Windy City during the July 4th weekend.

You could have a complete lack of firearms in the possession of all civilians and in the hood, they'd be carving each other up with knives, stabbing each other with screwdrivers and any pointy object they could get their hands on and crushing skulls with bats and hammers. It's the culture, not the tool.
If you want a good chance at how to stop what's going on in the inner-city, here's a start:
1. Find a way to convince those living in the inner-city crime areas to keep the father in the home (hopefully, a positive influence one).
2. End Democrat control of the inner-city schools. Student performance is poor due to poor schooling.
3. Make it clear to the kid's parents that in the schools, there has to be discipline to control the kid's behavior and not allow them to run amok in the classes and halls.
4. End "social promoting" in the schools. If the student is failing, he/she/it stays back a grade until competent.
5. Have parents form after school projects for the kids, especially the teens, to keep them busy and not out on the streets committing crimes.

I have always said 100 Deaths and 275 Shot. Over a 3 day weekend would automatically override Governor and Mayor and force NG/ MIL into the City
