Theyve done it to themselves. They refuse to assimilate to society. They talk different than the majority, they dress different, they have different interests. Their culture is basically foreign to the rest of the country, which makes it difficult for people to relate to a lot of their stuff. Guess what, we also dont have a lot of tv shows and movies about pygmies either. If youre drastically different from another culture, its not likely you will attract that audience.

Honestly, unless its a historical piece about slavery or something, movies with mostly black casts dont do so great on the big screen. White audiences generally require a bit more than slap stick Wayans brothers/Madea movies.
