Another GOP Smokescreen About ObamaCare Collapses

More and more and more and more Americans are getting insurance through ObamaCare. Millions and millions and millions of people who have never had insurance, or who have not had insurance for years. This is horrible news for Republicans.

One of the smokescreens thrown up by those who are going through the five stages of grief has been, "Oh yeah? Well how many have actually paid their premiums?"

The GOP decided to hold a hearing yesterday to prove only a third of enrollees have paid, so they dragged in a bunch of insurance executives to back up their claim.

Sadly for the committee, the insurance execs said more than 80 percent have paid so far.

Oopsie! What an amateur mistake. Every trial lawyer knows you don't ask a question you don't already know the answer to!

But Republicans were visibly exasperated, as insurers failed to confirm certain claims about ObamaCare, such as the committee's allegation that one-third of federal exchange enrollees have not paid their first premium.

Four out of five companies represented said more than 80 percent of their new customers had paid. The fifth, Cigna, did not offer an estimate.

ObamaCare is here to stay, folks. Get used to it.

This is probably why the GOP is putting Benghazi back on the front burner. To cover their ObamaCare butt hurt.

Obamacare is a disaster by all counts.. what? millions enrolled and then millions more dropped? Hell, my out-of-pocket went from $2,500 to $12,700... coupled with premium increases nearing 45%.

Yeah, it's backwards. Obama did exactly what Nixon wanted to do and the dems love him for it. This is corporatism at it's finest. It's unAmerican. No one in this country should be forced to purchase insurance or indeed anything from a corporation. I don't understand the Republicans who are against what was a republican idea but I understand even less the democrats who would be totally against this if it was proposed by a republican president. Both parties are hypocrites and America, sad to say, is the loser.
