I have been suffering low back pain for a while now. I have a semi firm mattress. I bought my daughter a firm mattress when she was in college (didn't want to make it too comfy) and it is what she lets us sleep on when at her home. Surprisingly, my back feels much better after a night on the firm mattress than on ours at home.

Surrounded by pillows, mattresses, mattress toppers, solutions of all kinds, I didn’t know where to look.

But the beds. You needed a stepladder to climb into them. How does that help your back?

Anybody ever tried (or had a friend try) one of those "Teeters" that turn you upside down and supposedly relieve back pain?

My wife has one and likes it. Says it helps.

This back & hip pain is debilitating on some days. Doc has offered pain meds and surgery and both of those are out of the question. Surgery could end my career and drugs make it dangerous to work.

Prob goes without saying but a heating pad and some Advil PM can do wonders
