I second that. I agree that the way the constitution is currently written, everyone is to be counted. However, congressional districts and the number of electoral votes should be based on the number of citizens, not illegals.Time for an Amendment to the US Constitution stipulating who may be counted ( citizens, legal residents, etc. ).
I do not have a problem with legal resident aliens being counted, one of the foundations of our revolution was "no taxation without representation" and counting them for the apportionment of representatives is a way to give them that without giving them a vote.
I am all for the Constitution being changed so that we do not count those here illegally.
But, until that time I cannot support ignoring the Constitution as many are want to do.
