For example, knowing electrical engineering, I know that electric vehicles make little sense.
You not only have to carry an extra half ton of batteries up hills and to stop lights, but you have to produce the electrical power 24 hours a day, even when not needed, because you don't know when it will be needed, and there are huge losses when produced, transmitted, stored, retrieved, and converted back to kinetic energy.

If we invent more dense batteries, they will go from being flammable, to being explosive.
