I've got a few days off coming at work so I'm assembling a apocalyptic movie playlist from my library.

Here's what I have so far, but I'm open for suggestions...

"On The Beach" -- 1959
"The Day After" -1983
"Threads" (the British version of TDA) -- 1984
"Atomic Cafe' -- 1982
"Dr Strangelove" -- 1964
"A Boy and His Dog" -- 1975
"Failsafe" -- 1964

The Road 2009

Daybreakers 2009

The Last Witch hunter 2015

Deep Impact 1998

12 Monkeys
Children of Men
The Book of Eli
The Road
World War Z

Why don't you do a study of sorts on the number of outbreak movies and zombie movies within say...5 years of the scamdemic of 2020.

Notice the uptick in ET movies now going on?? clue.

Terminator and Terminator 2, although you only get short clips of the nuclear war. Terminator Salvation spends more time post-apocalyptic but it is god awful.

The Book of Eli is an awesome movie.

The Road is pretty good.

The original Planet of the Apes suggests a nuclear war.

I liked A Boy and his Dog the best out of your list; it's pretty good for a low budget cheapie, and who doesn't like talking dogs?

I like Fredrick Forsyth's book The Fourth Protocol better than any of the movies; I think they made a movie version of it but I've never seen it.

War Games 1983

Not exactly apocolyptic but kinda plays with the idea of how close we can get with leaders playing their games and a very loose look into the build up behind such an event.

A teen remake of "Colossus: The Forbin Project" (1970) -- the superior movie.
