That is quite big if you are using your computer on a desk and sitting in front of it.

As for entertainment only purposes, could be fine.
 
I don't have much to add except everyone I know who has tried to use a widescreen hooked up to a PC for gaming has problems. Seems to work fine for consoles, but not PC's.
I do know when I want to watch a downloaded video via HDMI to my 1080 projector I have off/on problems with the Windows PC, but works fine on Linux. Primarily jittery video and incorrect resolution.
 
Sounds to me like the interface between the kahnuten port and the flux capacitor is causing a Kenneth frequency which is disrupting the oscillation scranny's diode, thus causing the thermal emmitance to spike. And that's not good.
