Argument for putting women in burkas

We have laws that force women to cover their breast .

Are you trying to imply that the USA is as repressed as the Islamic culture?

That is some insanely stupid shit right there.

Time for that walk of atonement (without a burka)

No, feel free to express yourself as a social conservative – it’s actually refreshing to hear a rightist be honest about his contempt for the Constitution, its case law, the rule of law, and the rights and protected liberties of his fellow citizens.

So whether it's murdering ‘abortion doctors,’ forcing women to give birth against their will, or compelling women to wear Burkas, it’s good to hear confirmation from social conservatives themselves about their agenda to increase the size and authority of government at the expense of individual liberty.

Right, because Democrats never do that.

Hey when the Islamic world sees that the west is marketing degenerate entertainment like this to children, it's actually pretty hard to blame them for hating America:

Yeah because they have such a better system. If a woman is caught cheating on her husband, they bury the wife up to her neck and throw rocks at her head until she dies.

And you say it's no wonder why they hate us?

I don't think nature intended for men to be voyeurs toward women without having to actually do anything productive to gain sexual access; it's an example of how modern culture has violated natural order.

And could be playing a role in the current state of the economy, since male sex drive has traditionally played a large role in their desire to be economically productive; when they can simply pleasure themselves to nude pictures on the internet it's cheating the system.

I suspect that when the American economy collapses because it's people become too over saturated with simple pleasures to support themselves, it's going to take a step "backward" in this direction anyway; much like Rome and the Barbarians.

When did Rome and the Barbarians get the internet????

In most traditional cultures a man had to prove his overall social worth before he could gain access to an attractive woman; in some Native American tribes for example a man wasn't even allowed to court a woman unless he had proven himself in a hunt or a fight.

And this likely benefited the economy as well, since it motivated men to "man up" and do something useful with the hope of getting a wife for his effort.

Today however women often dress immodestly in public and are very easy overall, plus adult entertainment industries provide easy sexual access to anyone willing to pay.

Basically it's sexual affirmative action, now all a man has to do to see an attractive woman is turn on his computer, so it'll likely hurt the economy in a long run when a man is no longer willing to be a man and do productive things.

So ironically if we made women wear burkas in public and eliminated the adult entertainment industry it might actually benefit the economy in the long run; the lazy welfare recipient couldn't just stare at the hottie outside his home or search for free porn online, he'd have to actually do something productive with his life in order to find a woman to bed.

It's funny how you complain about men not being manly enough, yet here you are whining like a little bitch.

What you are really talking about is sex starvation.

That was actually the way it was years ago. Men married women for the main reason of getting sex. It led to a lot of miserable people. My grandparents were two of those people, but there were many at the time because religion made it difficult to get a divorce and you were the talk of the town.

So because of sex, people led the rest of their lives unhappy and living with a person they couldn't stand in many cases. Economically or otherwise, if you are serious about this subject, I can't see how you would want a society to return back to those days.

Not in Austin tx!
Barton Springs comes to mind.
There was a country bar downtown when I lived there that gave girls free mechanical bull rides if they went topless... What has our world come to? :)
I've seen boobs at just about every bar I've been to on sixth street. And then there is sixth street during mardi gras.:D
