Sometimes a movie is deliberately stupid yet is able to be quite good. Think Airplane. But this is very hard to pull off.

Argylle doesn't pull it off. It comes really close, but gets dumber and dumber. The only scene that managed to pull a few laughs out of me was the fight scene on the train. Even my wife laughed during that scene and she had already declared this movie to be stupid.

Avoid this mess. Or just watch it until the end of the fight scene on the train, then turn it off.

I had heard it got bad reviews, but I'm a glutton for punishment so I'll watch it anyway...
