The Tea Party is a financial movement. It seeks to lower taxes and reduce the size and scope of government.

There are two possibilities to this story;

1. Some fringe group hijacked the Tea Party name with no knowledge of what the Tea Party is actually about.

2. A leftist hate site fabricated the story to slander the opposition.


There is about a 99.9999999999999% chance that the answer is #2.
