To me those two aren't even CLOSE to the same scenarios or people.
So I don't make that connection at all!

To me that's like showing Americans dancing half naked at a gay pride parade
saying "this is how Americans celebrate our freedom;" and juxtaposing that with a military funeral saying
"why are our troops dying for freedom that we just use to act like freaks in public."

That's NOT how all American's act all the time, so juxtaposing that ISN'T representative of what Americans
do and what we use our freedom for that our troops lay their lives down to defend.

If thread after thread were creaated, all showing half naked people at gay pride parades,

I'm promoting Constitutional education, checks and balances among the people to enforce and live by
as a consistent standard. that's my solution. Unite the Muslims and Christians (and Jews) in Christ
under Constitutional laws that respect due process and all beliefs and tribes and nations equally under natural laws.

We are both against abuses of either religious or political authority.

That's why I promote teaching ALL people to enforce the laws, the same way
Christians teach people this using the Bible, but I use Constitutional laws I find to be universal for all humanity and society to uphold:

If you are serious about the topic of the man frozen to death homeless while Muslim refugees get free housing by the govt

Your story was very compelling, since I have a friend in Norway complaining about this very thing of immigrants getting jobs and benefits
while native locals can't get jobs or help, they migrate to Sweden to look for work and displace Swedes out of the limited jobs.

That is very critical, so I was disappointed the only link I could see was a video of a goat getting kicked off a cliff
and not that story about the military veteran kicked out to freeze to death homeless on the street.

I think the "animal snuff video" detracts from your thread and makes it look like you were trolling to upset people like Gracie.

Ya know, the other day hubby & I & the boys hit some thrift stores just to see what we could find. Strangely I found the first section of a local newspaper, dated July 26, 1991. One of the headlines caught my eye...'Iraq Fails to Comply'. The story goes on to say that Saddam kept playing games with the UN & US by not being forthcoming about his nuclear arms, chemical weapons, etc according to some official agreement. Another story on page 2 is about Syria saying Bush (Sr) vows Israeli withdrawal.
Yes, I know it's all old news, but I couldn't help notice how some of the same or similar issues are still with us today 25 years later. Personally I think it could hold a few clues to what the future may or may not hold.

Dear DarkFury I think it might help you to have more confidence in winning this battle
the more you understand there are many more Muslims who ALIGN with Christians and Jews
and with Constitutional principles on the side of right, of TRUE peace and justice of the lasting prevailing kind,
and not the "false peace" of deceitful politics blamed on liberal media.

In every group, there are true teachers who help the others get it right.
Please know there are as many Muslims working for human rights, for peace and justice.

The true message in Islam, the true message and meaning in Christianity, in all faiths,
is the eternal truth that runs through all humanity. These paths are all fulfilled in Christ.
There are many Jews, Muslims, Buddhists who are joined in the spirit of Christ.
So again, this battle will be won already because God's will is already what it will be.

We have merely to align with God's will.
We win the battle internally to align and reconcile,
then collectively the larger process will fall into place,
where all humanity goes through this same process of coming to peace and unity.

the real enemy in the way, is our own fear, that causes us to splinter,
to distrust and even turn against each other. We remove that fear, that's 98% of the battle.
The rest will follow, when we seek to speak the truth and do all things with LOVE (not with fear).

Take heart, Take courage, and Take care

Please know that the good in each person by conscience
rises up and expresses outward. When all of us align
our purpose and plans, all humanity every tribe and nation will fall into place.

The Christians will correct fellow Christians and get all their members in line, not divided.

It is still a huge battle, but if you can see it from the viewpoint of
CORRECTING what's wrong and RESTORING the relations already existent,
It will be about solving conflicts INTERNALLY so that everything EXTERNAL follows as a result
(again winning the battle in advance, so you already know how the fight is going to end).

That is what is meant by the ABUNDANCE mentality (vs. scarcity mentality)

Setting ourselves up to succeed working cooperatively as a team, not fail by competing to defeat each other.

We cannot be ruled by fear or ill will, which limits our vision and effectiveness with dark emotions that distract, divide and weaken us.

Instead when we are motivated by good will for all, by love of truth justice and peace and what is right in the world, that is what prevails above anything to the contrary. Stick with what prevails, not with what fails.

You will attract more allies, more positive energy and people to fight in the right ways,

Much of this I agree with too. But we must all understand Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world with about 1.6 Billion or 23% of the global population, followers and counting. THAT is a whole big flock of people. To get a better handle on the whole situation everyone faces, it's important to also understand that whole flock of Islam is made up of both sheep (good guys) and goats (bad guys). I'd venture a conservative guesstimate that 3% of the above numbers (48,000,000) are inclined to terrorism.
Fury is focusing on the goats or bad guy terrorists as it were and there is NO doubt someone needs to in order to inform & enlighten the masses of the horrors awaiting us all. It is only a matter of time.
Em, you on the hand are focusing on the sheep/good people of Islam and that too is very necessary to help keep balance. There are both kinds of people, good and bad, and not just within one particular religion or group of peoples. It is in truth throughout humanity as a whole, AND even within every human being on a personal level.
Fury knows this, as well as you are aware of the goats. The hardest part of it all on the big picture, is how to separate the sheep from the goats especially when the goats are hidden in sheep clothing. Sound familiar? It should since we are in the beginnings of a Holy War, the fight between good & evil, and amongst the principalities that is the basis of our faith. We are all warriors for God even though we are drawn to fight from different perspectives yet with the same cause & goal at heart.
