Interesting!!! So Germany needs workers. This was the reason they allowed the Turks to emirate into their country three generations ago. I don't think the U.S. will ever face a dearth of workers. There are thousands and thousands of people living south of our border in dire circumstances who would love to come work in the U.S., even if just a chance to work in our fields. Has anyone ever seen the break breaking work those from south of the border do when it comes to stoop farming.

It's been nothing short of astonishing to watch Germany embrace the role of moral leader in Europe — no, make that the world — on the migration crisis that has sent thousands of Syrians and others streaming into the continent by land and sea.

"This can make us proud," Chancellor Angela Merkel said, praising the ordinary Germans who joyfully welcomed refugees in train stations across the country. "It is a true miracle," German political analyst Josef Joffe told Politico.
