Capitalism is a tool to be utilized, not deity for cult worship. I'm surprised you can type that with a straight face. The one grain of truth that you might grab onto is that most claimed efforts to deregulate don't. They re-regulate, in a way that is advantageous to the current administration. That's about all we ever get. The regime in power tweaks regulations to suit their lobbyists and punish their enemies. Always with damaging side effects in the regulated markets.
Effective deregulation, the kind real free market advocates want, means taking government out of the role of regulating altogether. Republicans never even attempt that, no matter how much Rand they've read. They like power just as much as the left.

What makes her all the more repulsive is that she firmly believed that you are born into a class and you should know your place. She came from a bourgeois family and her father's business was confiscated when she was 12. So, she was deeply impacted by the 1917 October Revolution.
