This is a "phoney" scandal according to the president. Ambassador Stevens and his family probably wouldn't/ don't see it that way.

Being raped burned and tortured to death seems pretty much like a real set of circumstances...the "scandal" is in how the administration lied and tried to cover up what happened.

You make a valid point that "I did not check to see" if it was Stevens. That said, the link you provided did not prove it wasn't Stevens. One photo of him clothed is not equal to proof. No one knows the condition he was found in prior to his being taken to the medical center. The author claims he found the image on sites going back to 2010, but provided no links or proof.

All that aside- let's assume the author is correct. It is a fact Stevens was raped and tortured to death! The photo on his site he provides of Stevens is gruesome as well.
