Bernie Sanders does not understand economics

Why do you think his voting record is indicative of his understanding of economics, rather than opinion pieces he's written? iow you're trying to set standards you know can't be met.

Exactly. Because y'all can't point to a single piece of legislation that shows "socialist" intention, action, or impact. You believe certain words are magic, and that because you repeat the word "socialism" it will become the pejorative you want it to be.

You probably believe that the Berlin Wall fell just because the Great God Ronnie ordered it to.

Actions speak louder than words.
Are you suggesting he never voted for Democrat policies?

Democratic.

Democrat Party - Conservapedia
Democrat Party

Democrat Party is the grammatically correct term for the Democratic Party. The Party is not "democratic", and proper nouns like "Democrat" are not converted into adjectives by adding "ic" as a suffix. It is not the "Republicanic Party," or the "Libertarianic Party", or a "Smith-ic Wedding." Predictably, many Democrats dislike the term "Democrat Party," perhaps because the official name is the "Democratic Party of the United States" since 1844[1] and perhaps they prefer the false illusion that their party is somehow more "democratic" than other parties.

Yep, and it should be "Republic" party, not Republican party.
Now we have that all straightened out, with "party" becoming an adjective. .

Actually, "party" is the noun. The confusion was around the adjective used to modify the noun.

Conservapedia :lmao: apparently thinks two nouns make an adjective.

Great but you know that most of Thatcher's policies turned out to be wrong...

Actually, they think it's a compound word consisting of two nouns: Democrat and Party.

The emphasis is on the syllable "-crat" which sounds like "-crap" which in fact it is.

Dude one of your parties candidates is Jeb Bush. That's the only person on the planet that is worse to vote for than Hillary.

I agree!

Remember when Republicans used this type of argument on Social Security? In those days Republicans argued that one hint of socialism and bingo you have a communist country on your hands. Did it work? It scared the bejabbers out of some voters and today, most industrial nations have a mixture of socialism and capitalism.

Bernie Sanders does not understand economics

None of the socialists do, that's how they can be socialists.
Did they recently amend the Constitution making economics a requirement like age or can Americans still vote for someone without courses in economics?

Americans can vote for all sorts of economic illiterates, like Obama, for instance.
Well Bush was rated fifth worst president and second worst president in economics. Wonder where Obama will end up on the rating scale of presidents when he leaves office? I suspect higher than Bush.

Well, Bush added $4.9 trillion to the debt in 8 years.
Obama added $8.2 trillion in 7 years.
I suspect you could be wrong.

When the historians rate they are aware of the background of most of the issues. I only suspect that a fair amount of money was spent to save the nation from going under in the Bush recession/depression.

Evidently he has no clue how collateral works, the man is obviously a few cards shy on the ole economic deck. A home has actual value...a women's study degree? Not so much. The man is running on an economics platform? Scary shit

Uh, Fat Irish Sow, the last FIVE recessions have been on Republican Watches. I don't think you guys really can argue on economics.

GFY you childish old freak and stay on topic

in other words, you know he's right and have nothing to say.

That would be during his presidency.
Are you confused about the dates?

PLease explain what Bush did to "crash the economy."
Oh, who am I kidding? You couldn't explain what you ate for breakfast yesterday, much less somethng like that.

Obama is the worst president in history. And yes I include Baby Doc Duvalier and idi Amin in that list. Every foreign policy initiative is a failure. Every domestic program has failed, causing misery, poverty, and dependence for millions. Racial strife and political division are far worse than the day Bush left office.
I miss the days of Bush when we had typically unemployment below 5%, GDP above 3% and a strong military with allies who respected us.
