Bernie Sanders does not understand economics

Great but you know that most of Thatcher's policies turned out to be wrong...

The Labour Party, for the most part, had accepted Thatcher's policies, and did not roll them back. Under Tony Blair, there was not a massive re-nationalization of the economy. There were not massive tax hikes on the rich. There was not massive re-regulation. Unions were not given many more powers. The financial industry had become even more important at the end of Blair's term than it was at the beginning. Britain in 2015 looks a whole lot different than it did in 1975.

Yeah people like Cowboy Fail are impervious to facts. They're like teflon coated against them or something.

Why do you think his voting record is indicative of his understanding of economics, rather than opinion pieces he's written? iow you're trying to set standards you know can't be met.

Exactly. Because y'all can't point to a single piece of legislation that shows "socialist" intention, action, or impact. You believe certain words are magic, and that because you repeat the word "socialism" it will become the pejorative you want it to be.

You probably believe that the Berlin Wall fell just because the Great God Ronnie ordered it to.

Actions speak louder than words.
Are you suggesting he never voted for Democrat policies?
Democratic.

Democrat Party

Democrat Party is the grammatically correct term for the Democratic Party. The Party is not "democratic", and proper nouns like "Democrat" are not converted into adjectives by adding "ic" as a suffix. It is not the "Republicanic Party," or the "Libertarianic Party", or a "Smith-ic Wedding." Predictably, many Democrats dislike the term "Democrat Party," perhaps because the official name is the "Democratic Party of the United States" since 1844[1] and perhaps they prefer the false illusion that their party is somehow more "democratic" than other parties.

Democrat: noun
Democratic: adjective
Vote Republican, vote Democrat = same difference.

Remember when Republicans used this type of argument on Social Security? In those days Republicans argued that one hint of socialism and bingo you have a communist country on your hands. Did it work? It scared the bejabbers out of some voters and today, most industrial nations have a mixture of socialism and capitalism.
No, I don't remember that. Refreshen our memories. Then explain how we keep funding it when people are living much longer and only a few workers are supporting each recipient now.

When the historians rate they are aware of the background of most of the issues. I only suspect that a fair amount of money was spent to save the nation from going under in the Bush recession/depression.
Oh sure, we can simply spend our way to prosperity. You must be a liberal.

None of the socialists do, that's how they can be socialists.
Did they recently amend the Constitution making economics a requirement like age or can Americans still vote for someone without courses in economics?

Americans can vote for all sorts of economic illiterates, like Obama, for instance.
Well Bush was rated fifth worst president and second worst president in economics. Wonder where Obama will end up on the rating scale of presidents when he leaves office? I suspect higher than Bush.

Well, Bush added $4.9 trillion to the debt in 8 years.
Obama added $8.2 trillion in 7 years.
I suspect you could be wrong.

would that be before or after bush's bail out after he crashed the economy?
How did Bush crash the economy?

Forget it. You might as well ask her about the NY Uniform Commercial Code.

Havent you been humiliated enough here already? Or are you a masochist?

Want to show off your ignorance of English as a First Language?

Keep using nouns as adjectives.

Don't know what an adjective is, vote Republican.
Don't have any use for democracy, vote DemocRAT.

You're right, vote Republican to maintain Democracy and starve.
That made no sense.

Try thinking.
I do it all the time. making sense of your gibberish isn't a skill set I've mastered though.

Unless you're planning to work with people who've sustained brain damage, it's really not worth the effort.
