The ONLY thing anyone comes here for with medical treatment is the very high end expertise.
Which most people in the US can't get or afford anyway.

There are waits in place with socialized medicine, only for routine things.

Even though it’s become common, it’s still surgery, and it does require local anesthesia. At his age any surgery is risky.

He will be out for 6-9 weeks and his movements severely curtailed after that.

Bernie is done... I dont see how he can recover from being out for the next two plus months... And medications he will now be on for the rest of his life.

It is SURGERY~

There are sever complications that can arise. The next 6 weeks will be tailoring his medications to reduce the plaque and other bad things in his blood. During that time he will not be far from his doctor or his home and a place to rest. The stress level alone, of the campaign, could send him into a cardiac event.
