Bible prophecy=Is this the Psalm 83 war coming to life?

“They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:” Psalm 83:4,5

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, leader of the ISIS revolution, swore a vow this week to capture Jerusalem and Rome as he goes about attempting to construct his Muslim caliphate. Al-Baghdadi has a big mountain to climb in fully wresting control of Iraq, but should he be successful there is no telling how far he can take it. Students of bible prophecy have long known that a Muslim caliphate, or the Psalm 83 confederacy as the bible says, is to rise in the Middle East to come against Israel. This could possibly be the fulfillment of that prophecy, time will tell.
NTEB.

No such thing as prophecy. Anyone can make a prophecy and leave it open-ended with no time to be fulfilled and be proven right. Eventually. Using past history known to them at the time, imagining a future war similar to wars in their history books doesn't make it prophecy.

Israel's rebirth as a nation is a fulfilment of Hebrew prophecy, Delta. There is no denying this.

If you were educate in Hebrew you would know it doesn't refer to and not written referring to the future tense :eusa_whistle:

Time makes the Christian doctrine of a “second coming of Christ” lose all credibility. If Jesus promised to come back shortly and the disciples expected so strongly to see Jesus return and establish the kingdom of God and neither event occurred, for what can the church still hope? In essence, Christian theological speculations on the “second coming of Christ” represent nothing more than the systematization of a mistake.

No amount of Christian theological acrobatics will ever solve the problems engendered by the historical reality that a promised imminent fulfillment made two thousand years ago did not occur as expected . Simply stated, Jesus is never coming back, not then, not now, not ever.

Sounds like you!!!!====There shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts

4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”

5 For of this they are willfully ignorant: that by the Word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water,

6 whereby the world as it then was, being overflowed with water, perished.

7 But the heavens and the earth which now are, by the same Word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the Day of Judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing: that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:3-9

Jews do not believe nor is there a concept the doctrine of original sin in Judaism. This is a Christian belief based on Paul’s statement, “Therefore just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned” (Romans 5:12). The doctrine was fully developed by the church father, Augustine of Hippo (354-430).

According to this doctrine, hereditary sinfulness is inescapably transmitted to human beings by their parents, starting with Adam and Eve. It is alleged that only acceptance of Jesus as savior from sin can redeem a person from sin. All those who do not accept Jesus as their savior from sin are condemned to eternal suffering in hell.

Whether man is a sinner by nature or not is immaterial. Judaism teaches the biblical way to repentance and reconciliation with God. Sincere repentance in which the sinner pledges to rectify his sinful ways and lead a righteous life is one means that is open at all times to all of humanity (Jonah 3:5-10, Daniel 4:27). God counsels Cain, “Why are you annoyed, and why has your countenance fallen? If you do good [that is, change your ways], will it not be lifted up [that is, you will be forgiven]. But if you do not do good, sin rests at the door; and it desires you, but you may rule over it” (Genesis 4:6-7). God informs Cain that repentance and subsequent forgiveness are always open to him. The remedy for sin is clear. Biblically, God’s loving-kindness depends on right conduct and extends to all humanity.

Jesus’ family, including his mother, believed that he was mentally ill

According to the author of the Gospel of Mark (Mark 3:19-21, 31), during the period when he was preaching, Jesus’ relatives, his mother and his brothers, believed that he was mentally ill. The author of the Gospel of John comments that “neither did his brothers believe in him” (John 7:5). Jesus, in turn, rejected them (Mark 3:31-35, Matthew 12:46-50, Luke 8:19-21). Apparently, Mary, the mother of Jesus, forgot the visits of angels, magi, and shepherds. The prophecies of Anna and Simeon completely slipped her mind. Most of all Mary seems to have forgotten her own impregnation by the Holy Spirit. It is more than likely that she had nothing to forget because these episodes never happened. When Jesus started to preach they had a legitimate concern as to his mental condition. This incident, rather than later claims that his family believed in his message, shows that no miracles surrounded his birth.

He was kind of like you gismo, mentally ill

Augustine converted to be a catholic and did not understand that we are saved by faith and not by works. * It is written: Abraham was justified by faith. Had Augustine only known what the bible said he would not have abandoned his girlfriend and son who was born out of wedlock. Due to false doctrine taught by the Romans he left the boy and his mother when he should have married the girl and raised the boy to know the Lord.

The commandment to the Romans that Paul gave was to be the husband of one wife because the Romans had multiple wives. They swung the other way hard and then forbid any who desired to serve Christ from marrying at all. Neither the Vatican nor the pope is of any relation to Peter. Peter was married. Jesus healed his mother in law.

It is written:

And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever and they besought him to her. And he stood over here, and rebuked the fever, and it left her, and immediately she arose and ministered unto them. - Luke 4: 38, 39

The early church is not based on Catholic doctrine which is heresy. The early church is based on the Doctrine of Christ which the Vatican and RCC have steadfastly opposed.

* the ones who were burned at the stake and martyred for Christ during the Inquisitions, such as John Hus, Savonarolla, John of the Cross were the true Christians.. Avila escaped death by remaining silent while her close friend John of the Cross was murdered because he would not recant his testimony for Christ. Avila was very careful about what she said during those days as she knew it was a dangerous time.

* the Doctrine of Lea is still intact to this day and identifies the Christians and Jews as the "pestilent ones" that must be cleansed for the sake of the Roman church keeping its own doctrines intact. ( free from any challenges by Holy Scripture is how I interpret that ) The Doctrine of Lea is what was used to put Christians and Jews to death during the Inquisition - also other non roman catholics - during the Inquisition the Roman Catholics nailed the tongues of the Christians to the roofs of their mouths so they could not speak scripture, speak out against the evil being done in Gods name, nor could they preach the gospel. ( with their tongues nailed to the roofs of their mouths )

Psalm 83

Do not keep silent, O God!
Do not hold Your peace,
And do not be still, O God!
2 For behold, Your enemies make a tumult;
And those who hate You have lifted up their head.
3 They have taken crafty counsel against Your people,
And consulted together against Your sheltered ones.
4 They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation,
That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”

5 For they have consulted together with one consent;
They form a confederacy against You:
Psalms 83:1-5 describes an Arab Coalition that’s intent on the destruction of Israel.
WRITTEN ABOUT 3000 YEARS AGO BUT COMING TRUE TODAY!
