Biden is not screaming foul on our DOJ as his son goes to trial.
He loves his son and feels he is innocent but he is allowing the justice system play out.

Biden's Democrats are not crying foul on the Hunter Biden indictment or that of Democrats Cuellar or Menedez,

If the DOJ was a weaponized arm of the Biden administration they would not allow indictments and trial of Biden's son or fellow democrats.

The main question is, who owns the judge?

A pardon isn't the most favourable way to save his boy, but the political climate would quite likely see it as acceptable. After all, Trump is going to pardon hundreds when he becomes the king.

Something more subtle will work better.

Bullshit. The judge is the one who asked the questions that resulted in the plea deal being abandoned. The prosecutors want to win. That is their job. Hunter's lawyers advocate for him. The two sides decide on a jury, not just Hunter's side.
The jury decides guilt.
If he is found guilty will you eat your words.
