Biden Lie #4,638: You Can Buy a Gun at a Gunshow Without a Background Check

I went to the George R Brown convention center, in Houston, a few years ago- I wanted to trade a Ruger 357 single action for something- a stranger bought it from me for more than I thought I'd get in a trade- there were cops everywhere and said nary a thang-
I've only ever seen them sit at a table by the door making sure that your hammer is zip-tied when you bring one in.

I have bought and sold guns as a private transfer at gunshows. The people I did business with had no intention of using the firearms for crime.

A street in the ghetto of South Chicago has ten times more guns used for crime than all the gunshows in the US combined.

All the Left have are lies in their NAZI effort to grab guns from law abiding citizens.

What ever happened to fact check ? Did it they go out like the dodo bird and the CNN covid death counter?

BIDEN: "You go to a gun show, you can buy whatever you want--no background check."

Factcheck: Partially True
People do go to gun shows.

now youre the one lying,,

best on important issues like this you not lie or give false implications,, it will always hurt you point,,

Weatherman2020, the OP, is the biggest liar in this thread, claiming our President is lying, who was actually telling the truth. Almost everyone in America can drive to a gun show on Friday evening after work with some friends, attend a gun show on Saturday where no background checks are required, buy a gun from a person paying less than $100 for space or table, and be home for Sunday dinner and the local gun range.

you are only slightly right,, biden lied about many things in his presser,, see above video for proof,,

and you will get a background check if you buy from a dealer but not if you buy it from a private person,,

cant speak for the OP other than his premise in this thread is wrong,,,

If you want to buy a gun cheap with no background check... stand outside a police gun buy back... they offer a pittance for guns. Stop someone bringing in their guns and make them a better offer. Worst they can say is no,
best is you get a 9mm for a just a little more than what the police are offering.

not sure about your state but here in missouri you can go to a gun show and buy from a private seller without a background check,,

you are limited to whats available because a private seller doesnt have the inventory a big dealer has,,

In that case you can meet on the sidewalk and sell your gun.
BAN ALL SIDEWALKS!

I just walked up to their booth,, no need to go out to the sidewalk,,

Why pay to rent a booth for $1,000 to sell one gun?
Answer: nobody does.

who says its a 1000 bucks for a booth or they are only selling one gun???

neither has ever been this case at a show I have been too,,,

Yes, a booth at a gunshow is at least $1000.
Educate yourself.

not here,,,

and if you only had one gun to sell its easier to just walk around with it on your shoulder

Tables will be $10.00 extra if not prepaid 10 days prior to the show.

But tables at gun shows here aren't a thousand bucks. Most are under 100 bucks and no one rents a table site to sell just one gun.

There's one coming up near us and the tables go from 55 to 65 bucks. It'll be the first time I've been to one. I'd like a nice revolver to add to my hoard.

smaller venues get a lower price for tables,,,

Don’t live in a State that allows it.
And tell Demonrats to stop releasing tens of thousands of violent felons from prison early if you’re concerned about gun violence.
There needs to be a federal law. As long as people travel freely among the states one lax state puts us all at risk.

Oh boo hoo.

The last thing anyone needs is more gun law. They can't keep track of or enforce some of the ones there already.

Talking Constitutional rights away from Americans is far worse.

Naw, this is too corny even for Hollywood. The day before the President of the United States issued executive orders to control the sale of guns there is a mass shooting in South Carolina. The day he issued the executive orders, there is a mass shooting in Texas.

Corny, but true.

The Post reports, "At least five people are dead, including two children, in what police in York County, S.C., called a “case of a mass shooting” that involved a former National Football League player as the suspected gunman.

"Four of the victims of the Wednesday shooting came from what authorities described as a “very prominent and very well-known” family in the Rock Hill community: Robert Lesslie, a 70-year-old doctor; his wife, Barbara Lesslie, 69; and two grandchildren, Adah, 9, and Noah, 5. The fifth victim, James Lewis, 38, of Gastonia, N.C., was working at the home at the time of the shooting.

"The York County Sheriff’s Office confirmed in a news release to The Washington Post on Thursday that the suspected gunman was Phillip Adams, a former NFL player who killed himself early Thursday after an hours-long search by police."

Today, CNN reports, "One person was killed and at least four others were wounded in a shooting at an industrial park in Bryan, Texas, on Thursday afternoon, police said.

"One person was later taken into custody in nearby Grimes County after a trooper was shot, Sheriff Donald Sowell told CNN, adding the incident may be connected to the industrial park shooting."

Texas has an open carry law. A person can walk down a street in Bryan carrying an assault rifle. On March 17, 2021, the South Carolina House gave key approval to a bill allowing people to carry an assault rifle on a street in Rock Hill.

All this follows mass murders in Atlanta and Boulder three weeks ago. Both Georgia and Colorado allow persons to carry assault rifles down their city streets.

Go figure.

Every frigging day there are murders in every one of these Democrat controlled big city shitholes. In fact that is where the great majority of the gun crime takes place in the US. Mostly Black on Black but idiots like Joe Dufus ignores the real problem. He ignores it because his agenda is not public safety. It is take firearms away from Conservatives that opposes his agenda to make America a Socialist shithole.

That is an excellent argument for gun control. Thank you.

Do you mean conservatives in South Carolina, Texas, Atlanta, and Boulder?

You seem to agree with the thrill of mass murder.
