Biden Proposing 5% Cap on Housing Rents

This proposal is potent. There are 112 Million renters in America (34% of the total population).
There are also 32.2 Million businesses. Together these translate into a ton of votes.

If Trump does not reciprocate and propose a rent control law himself (of 5% or lower), he could be handing Biden the election. After the astronomical rent increases of the last few years, to renters and business owners, this is the most serious issue in America. Both have taken a huge hit economically, by the enormously higher rents.

Face it. You're a socialist.

See Post # 58.

As for the socialist card, it's been waved 100 times in this this thread. It has no effect when used against one of the most conservative posters in this forum (me), who is a capitalist (owner of 2 businesses).

Now let's look at your credentials. By opposing rent caps, that puts you directly in opposition to 99.99% of all businesses in America, who desperately need those rent caps. That would make you a socialist leftist.

Yep. Socialist.

Thats not far right. Thats totalitarian. IE leftist.
I am going to assume, from your lack of response, you rent from a individual, and this wont even benefit you lol.
Wrong. All the things I stated in Post # 58 are far-right, ultra-conservative, and if you don't support them, you're a liberal.

I also am a 2nd Amendment gun owner/CCW license, anti Muslim, anti-illegal immigration, anti-LGBT lunacy, anti DEI Affirmative Action, pro-Israel, pro business, and pro Trump.

As for renting, yes, I'm both a housing renter, and business owner (twice), both of which are massively damaged by the extreme rent hikes of the past few years. Me and 200+ Million other Americans.

No, I rent from a big company with multiple buildings, but
where I live now isn't too bad. $1,014/month for a 1 bdrm in a new (2022 built) building with a pool, exercise room, & many amenities. In 2 years, my rent has risen $242/month. High, but not as bad as most places. My main beef is with what housing rent spikes have done to my 2 businesses (& thousands of others).
