Biden's "American Rescue Plan" monetizes crime.

Is that why crime is near a 50 year low?
Here is the email we sent to Louis Jacobson, but he never responded to our point that the most recent National Crime Victimization Survey data shows a 43 percent increase from the rate in 2020. So, how exactly is the current rate near a 50-year low? How does comparing it to only the crime rate 50 years ago exactly justify Biden’s claim?

One? Did you say one? We all know at least two, he paid off. :auiqs.jpg:
Buying an untrue story for publication is not a payoff, You seem to plant words that have no relevancy. You folks have been accusing him of using prostitutes--with no evidence while you try to legitimize the sex trade. Don't you find that a bit hypocritical--as well as slanderous.

Have you seen reports on that, or is it just a feeling? I understand how Republicans are big on their feelings, with nothing to back it up.
Both. I see it here in Massachusetts constantly. Individuals arrested but not charged. Charges reduced or dropped to avoid the DA having to do their jobs. Crimes which officers will not be dispatched to. It’s rampant across the country.

Why else would half of downtown Chicago be boarded up even BEFORE the DNC convention started yesterday?

Bad data from the FBI mislead about crime | Washington Examiner

Part of the problem is how police departments report offenses to the FBI. The FBI asked, then demanded, that law enforcement agencies “transition” away from the system they used for decades to a new, more detailed but onerous one. The 2021 mandate to use NIBRS to submit crime data proved a disaster as overstretched departments, especially in large cities, failed to reach compliance and thus did not submit data.

In 2019, 89% of agencies covering 97% of the population submitted data, but by 2021, that coverage plummeted to less than 63% of departments overseeing just 65% of the population. Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City all failed to submit crime data. To increase participation, the FBI relaxed the NIBRS requirement in 2022, allowing agencies to report via the legacy system.

Billions going to the states and cities with no comprehensive plan to reduce crime.

Holy shit! WHAT. Haven't you people been blathering about how the Democrats want to defund the police? Then you try and stupidly trash a plan to FUND THE POLICE !! How fucking stupid and dishonest can you be??

Nope. He fucked them both, as became public. Sound valid to me.

Thank you Uncle Joe:

According to a February 2024 Zillow analysis, a prospective homeowner in the U.S. may need to earn more than $106,000 annually to buy a typical home. This is an 80% increase from the $59,000 yearly income that Zillow predicted in 2020. A Bankrate study from April 2024 found that Americans need an annual income of $110,871 to afford a median-priced home of $402,343, which is a 46% increase since 2020

You do understand that this suggests that there is no longer a crime problem in America. ;)

You've got it backwards. It's Dems that run on feelings, Repubs on facts.

There is indeed a crime reporting problem.

Funding or defunding the police won't change crime stats much. The cops just give themselves raises and new equipment, and crime just goes on.

yeah, those prisons are empty, not.
Chalk a lot of that up to Covid.

What's changed in the last 100 years? More corrupt politicians from both parties funneling money to their supporters.

You want proper change? You need to change the electoral system.
