Bill Richardson - Sen Ted Cruz "No, I don’t think he should be defined as a Hispanic"

What Richardson said was stupid and wrong, but Cruz is certainly not a naturally born American citizen, being born in Canada, and therefore ineligible for the Presidency.

Sure he is as long as he has a Parent who is an American Citizen.

Meet the real racists. Only liberals decide who is black, who is hispanic... and who they should vote for.

A few readers comments in HuffPost:

"During his campaigned Sen Cruz never run as a Hispanic"

"In Cruz's heart of hearts, he's a white man through and through. The man is NOT hispanic."

"Ted Cruz sold his soul to the republican party a long time ago, and thus he is no longer latino"

NYT Op/Ed: Tim Scott is a "Cynical Token," and No Symbol of Progress - Guy Benson

Harry Reid: "I don't know how anyone of Hispanic heritage could be a Republican." | The Weekly Standard

Since the number of white americans voting for a Democratic presidential candidate (39%) is getting closer to the number of GOP hispanic voters (27%), can you imagine a GOPer asking how anyone of european heritage could be a Democrat? I can't, but is the same shit.
