Karma Wave. Dems changed the primaries awhile back so only top two in June make it to November with the intent it would be Dem vs Dem. But in a number of seats it's a dozen Dems diluting the votes against only one or two Reps. We could see two Reps only on the ballot in November for some seats.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn that they are taking money to pay
candidates to drop out.

The GOP can smell some surprise wins and they'll finally turnout
in strength to take advantage of the situation.
