So....it was a Federal Ordnance M14...which means it was a semi automatic rifle, not a military weapon.....and this is where it goes...you give up the semi auto rifle, and you can't claim any reason to not give up the semi auto shotgun and pistol...and you might as well throw in revolvers because they too are semi automatic weapons..

So...according to you, all semi automatic weapons should be handed over so that the anti gun extremists don't come back and also demand our lever action and bolt action rifles, and our pump action shotguns...right?
