I remember in 1949 when the communists took over my country I was in high school.

The commissars invaded all the schools with the slogan: "It was long time ago, we don't need it!"

They destroyed the physical lab, the chemistry lab, models of the solar system, burned Shakespeare, Goethe, Dumas and Cervantes, prohibited playing Mozart and Beethoven encouraged people to report anyone who disagrees with those policies to the government.

I thought I escaped that tyranny. Now I am not so sure.
