Well, the problem seems to be one of power. The Tories didn't like the EU having some power in the UK, because it meant when they got into power, their 'God given right' to do what the fuck they like would be hindered. The problem was that all the bad things that they said were the fault of the EU govt, were actually the fault of the UK govt.
