That was kind of tongue and cheek. hehehe. Of course it is not all without some truth too.

Fossil fuels will be running combustion engines many, many decades after we're all in our boxes 6 feet under.
Do you get a tingle up your leg by telling lies?Funny that you deniars should be yowling that others are afraid of change, when it is you fellows that completely freak out over the idea of replacing fossil fuels with non-polluting technology.
No, we don't. Fossil fuels provide half of the electricity in the United States. You have NOTHING that will replace it, now or for the foreseeable future. And all the petroleum used for transportation? Nothing there, either. We have the technology to do this at present.
We know for an absolute fact that burning coal warms the planet. We have been told this by everyone from the Big 0 to Old Rocks. Now, however, we find that the reason the global isn't warming is that China is burning coal.
Shut the front door!
If Americans burn coal, it warms the planet so we cannot use the most plentiful resource in our ground to produce energy since Warming the Global is the worst catastrophe that can be imagined. So we've been told.
Now we are told that the reason that the Global isn't Warming is BECAUSE too much coal is being burned. I see... Warming causes too much snow, too much rain, drought, floods, warming, cooling, rising seas that never rise and global famine while there is more food than ever before. Warming the Global is obviously freaky.
Now we find out that the reason we cannot burn coal because of warming is the reason the Global isn't Warming because of the Coal burning. Again: Freaky.
Makes me wonder if the big increase in temperatures since the early 20th Century might be due to the relative absence of coal burning, Globaly, that is.
Add to the list of things to worry about dogs sleeping with cats, the condition known as hot dog fingers and anal seepage.

But the cooling effect from sulfur is short-lived. By contrast, the carbon dioxide emanating from Chinese coal plants will last for decades, with a cumulative warming effect that will eventually overwhelm the cooling from sulfur and deliver another large kick to global warming, climate scientists say.
A warmer climate could lead to rising sea levels,
the spread of tropical diseases in previously temperate climes,
crop failures in some regions and
the extinction of many plant and animal species, especially those in polar or alpine areas.

Don't forget that this will cause a population explosion in anteaters who will no longer be satisified with just ants.

That's true. There's no shortage of stupid people who believe the AGW cult. But Gore can't make money off of suckers selling Cow Fart Credits, can he?Cow farts warm the earth to.
He may try
I'm afraid that in your case, Davedolt, those won't help. About the only thing that would help you would be for you to get a pre-frontal lobotomy. You wouldn't get any smarter, that's impossible, but it would shut you up and relieve the rest of us from the burden of your whining moronic rants.
Ahhh....another of the walleyedretard's posts where he demonstrates his verbal 'brilliance'.
Funny that you deniars should be yowling that others are afraid of change, when it is you fellows that completely freak out over the idea of replacing fossil fuels with non-polluting technology. You flood the internet with posts concerning the stupidity of scientists, and fail to see the irony. You get your science from an undegreed ex-tv weatherman, or an obese junkie of a radio jock. And then claim there is no science on the side of the people that have made there climate their lifes study.
No, we do not want to go back, we want to move forward. Forward to a future that involves living in a manner that does not destroy our environment, damning future generations to a lesser quality of life than we enjoy. Forward to a future with a richer environment, for all of earth's creatures, rather than one where we are responsible for the extinction of a great many with whom we share the earth with at present.
We have the technology to do this at present. But that would hurt the economics of some very wealthy and powerful corperations. And their minions are going to make sure that does not happen, and you fellows are going pucker up and kiss the asses of the fellows destroying the future of the following generations.

In another two or three hundred years, that vision will undoubtedly be the reality.
Right now, without fossil fuels, commerce stops, world wide famine starves billions and civilization as we know it today vanishes amid the following plagues and pestilence that rises from all of the unburied corpses.
The problem with reality is that it's so real.
The problem is, that's exactly what the most rabid greenies want. Sorry "daveman" gonna have to disagree with you and your sponsors.....there is no justifying the destructive methods that is required to mine this blackening dust; mountain-top removal, and a variety of
local ecological imbalances that result in extracting this resource. Who wins? Investors and mining contractors. Who loses? The local communities, and eventually our over all eco system. Yep! You can spin it any way you wish , but you are either in denial or a liar.
