Buzz Aldrin Slams ‘First Man’ Movie for Omitting US Flag

THe Left, specifically here, the HOllywood left, hates America.

THey are happy to make a movie like The Black Panther, which pandered to Black Nationalism,

but make fools of themselves to avoid giving anything to American Nationalism.

Yeah, except for all of those World War 2 movies, and all of those other patriotic movies, you have a point there.

Those were made when Hollywood was fairly conservative. Nowadays there are few war movies that are made that are even remotely non leftist. Most war movies are anti nationalistic screeds with a dose of collectivist philosophy thrown in for good measure.

A movie? This is about a movie?

LOL...big, fucking deal.

Some movie did not post a picture of an American flag. Who gives a shit? Just don't watch the movie.

Leave it to FOX to try and make a mountain out of nothing.

Most FoxNews viewers are OLD. And most older Americans (especially cons) look at the flag as some God-given thing.

It ain't. It's a piece of cloth and is worth absolutely nothing. It's just an inanimate object.

When I was in the reserves - I barely cared about the flag then. And I care even less about it now.

It is NOTHING but an inanimate object.

All the fucking misery in the world...and all you people (and the once, great astronaut, Buzz Aldrin) can think to do is get worked up about a flag missing from a movie? No wonder the worked is so messed up.
hate America much?

Black Panther was hilarious, it was about a nation that used Trump ideology to remain great and they didn’t even realize it.

Give me your best example, of a counter example.

Amazingly….a movie gets made about every 9 months or so featuring someone named “captain America”. Is anyone forcing them to make the movies? No. Was anyone sitting around thinking “Man, why don’t they make movies about Captain America?” before they made them? No.

It’s a convenient canard that there is some “anti american” bias in hollywood. What does exist is what would be perceived as a liberal bias. Pretty much because movies about conservative values would be dull and boring.

Now that shows a complete lack of understanding.

Did you even see the Captain America movies?

You know they portray Captain America as a left wing tard, don't you?

The two times I have had to sit through that Avenger Crap; they seemed to portray him as someone who is fighting some other worldly creature.

But since you brought it up; over 1/2 of the voting public was left wing (HRC won by 3 million votes). Seems like a smart marketing move to me. Furthermore, if you can use statistical analysis as the basis, that would mean that America in general is more left than right which would speak to portrayal as an “american” more than one who is “left” or “right”.

As for the “tard” part…whatever.

Hated the movies…Jeremy Renner’s character was pretty cool in them though.

Any chance to whine.

We all know that when trump said we might get tired of the winning, he misspoke. He was saying we might get tired of the whining. Are you tired yet?

Discussing the meaning of fiction, is normal and healthy. Try to be less of an ass.

Hey, she's on your side. But you're right. Leftists make a fine whine

Hollywood Libtard Moon Bat political correctness will cost those dumbshits a lot of revenue. I sure as hell won't go see the movie or rent it and people like me (baby boomer that remembered the real thing) were probably the target audience.

Liberals fuck up everything they touch, don't they?

Sorry! I am throwing the bullshit flag on that play. Armstrong was a civilian and thus the only valid pick of who would be first.

That had nothing to do with it. The astronauts all became "civilians" when they were hired by NASA. At that time, all of them were ex Navy, or Air Force pilots.

Sorry, you are incorrect! They were still military officers.

Thomas Stafford was the first general to fly in space when he was selected to Brigadier General.

BTW, you forgot John Glenn was Marine, so he was neither Navy nor Air Force.. He was also a LtCol when he flew and a Colonel when he retired in 1964.

Last time I checked the Marines were a branch of the Navy, although a separate Corps. Do you remember what was painted on his F-86 in Korea?

I believe they had to enter the reserves when they were hired by NASA, but have to research that. They were all NASA employees for certain.
