If you diddle kids or traffic then it should be the death penalty within 48 hours.

Only way I'd consider life in prison is if someone is caught and they can provide information leading to more arrests. If they can give names, places, phone numbers, detailed information then they can have life in prison. Conversation should be "you've been sentenced to death in 48 hours. You can have life in prison instead of you can provide of explicit details of people, places and times and they need to pay off quickly. You have 1 hour to think it over".

The one that's up for this week is SB14 which was initially blocked by the committee in question but got revived when the spotlight was thrust back upon them.

Hopefully they'll finally do the right thing, even if it is for political show.
