If you actually read the law you would know that they can still cite people for jaywalking if they are actually impeding traffic, they just cannot do it any longer for someone that jay walks on an empty street.

But as you are nothing but a parrot for the GOP you did not bother to read the law.

Doesn't matter what the law says. If you have a bunch of people who know they can jay walk, they could get in the way of emergency vehicles. They aren't going to be ticketing offenders when they know emergency vehicles are on the way through that area in a matter of seconds or minutes.
